Character birthday

Mirror Man. Always the class clown growing up, Mirror Man developed the ability to impersonate others and on leaving school started doing the rounds of comedy clubs, enjoying moderate success. He applied to become an entertainer on cruise ships, and from there was spotted as a potential entertainer for the battlecruiser Buzzard. He was on board, therefore, when the ship sailed for Bird Island for the test of the nuclear bomb.

Although supposed to shelter in the bunker with the sailors and staff, he couldn't resist sneaking out to watch the event. Hence he was sucked through one of the wormholes which opened up as a result. Wormhole travel gifted him with the power to mimic the powers of others, as well. He is a member of the Earth Guard.

The robot Excel-7, also associated with the Earth Guard, was activated on this date. It was taken to Bird Island to measure the effects of the nuclear test.
