Character birthday

Boris Kostellov, Galorvian downhill Olympic skier. Galorvia was still controlled by a repressive regime when Kostellov was part of the team. There were divisions within the team between people who supported the regime and those who wanted to see the return of the royal family. Kostellov was in the latter group. He struck up a friendship with a woman in a neighbouring chalet, which was owned by a British holiday company, unaware that she was a princess of Galorvia in exile. During his race, Kostellov suffered a severe accident and was taken to hospital. When the princess, Gloria, came to visit, he declared his love for her, although, thinking she was British, assumed she’d not understand a word he said. She replied in Galorvian that she loved him, too. Kostellov made a full recovery, although skiing at Olympic level was ruled out. He and Gloria married and founded a ski resort in Galorvia which they named Borisville. In due course, Kostellov became the father of twin sons, Arthur and Hector.
