  1. In London, the number 68 Bus runs from St Julian's Farm Road to Euston Bus Station. The route's most famous passengers were the Harry Houghton and Ethel Gee were trailed by a Special Branch agent when they travelled on the 68 bus between Waterloo Road and Walworth Road.
  2. 68 is the atomic number of erbium, a chemical element with the symbol Er, a silvery-white metal. Natural erbium is always found in chemical combination with other elements. It is a lanthanide, a rare earth element, originally found in the gadolinite mine in Ytterby in Sweden, from which it got its name.
  3. In the UK, the A68 is a road connecting Darlington in England and Dalkeith in Scotland.
  4. In the USA, Interstate 68 is a road connecting I-79 in Morgantown, West Virginia, to I-70 in Hancock, Maryland.
  5. '68 is the name of an American punk band which comprises guitarist and vocalist Josh Scogin and drummer Nikko Yamada.
