15th October: Virgil

Virgil was born on this date in 70BC. He was the Classical Roman poet who wrote the Aeneid.


  1. They succeed, because they think they can.
  2. Time flies never to be recalled.

  5. The world cares very little about what a man or woman knows; it is what a man or woman is able to do that counts.

  8. Wherever the fates lead us let us follow.
  9. The medicine increases the disease.
  10. Even virtue is fairer when it appears in a beautiful person.
