  3. Licor 43, or Cuarenta y Tres, is a Spanish liqueur, has been made in Cartagena, Spain for over 1800 years, dating back to the time of the Carthaginians. It is a bright Yellow and derives its name from the fact that it is supposedly a mixture of 43 different ingredients.

  4. George W. Bush was the 43rd president of the United States. He was nicknamed "Bush 43" to distinguish from his father. Also in US Presidents, the youngest president to be elected was John F. Kennedy at the age of 43.

  5. There are 43 verses in the Old English epic poem Beowulf.
