  7. 227 is a twin prime and the start of a prime triplet (with 229 and 233). A prime triplet is a set of three prime numbers in which the smallest and largest of the three differ by 6.
  8. The 227 series is a DC electric multiple unit train operated by West Japan Railway Company for use on suburban services in the Hiroshima area.
  9. The A227 road runs between Gravesend and Shipbourne, Tonbridge.
