140 was the original character limit for the social network, Twitter. This gave rise to urban slang in which the 140 means the basic gist of something.
It was also the thinking behind a 2009 film developed by Frank Kelly, in which 140 filmmakers in 140 locations worldwide took to Twitter to film 140 seconds at the same time. They had to film something that connected them to their home and do it in 140 seconds of continuous footage. The entire film was produced over the Internet, through email, Facebook and Twitter.
140 is a video game developed and published by Carlsen Games. The object of the game is "syncing up your moves and jumps to the music-controlled elements"; the Music changes as the player progresses through levels to reflect the difficulty.
