On day 276 of the year, have some fun facts about the number 276!

  6. The year 276 was a leap year starting on Saturday, known at the time as the Year of the Consulship of Tacitus and Aemilianus. It was a busy year for Emperor Tacitus. Not only did he double the silver content of the aurelianianus, but he campaigned successfully against the Goths who’d invaded Asia Minor. However, it was also the year he died, in Tyana, Cappadocia. It’s not known whether he died of an of illness, or was murdered.
